About this piece
As I said above, this is my entry for the already traditional “Think Pink” contest hold by `JunkbyJen who is a two time breast cancer survivor herself. If you haven’t sent an entry yet, please considering doing so and spread the love
Since some time ago, I have been making some volunteer work at a Brazilian hospital for child suffering from cancer (please visit their website here: [link] - it‘s in Portuguese only, sorry!) . So, I had a lot of emotions and experience I wanted to share through my artwork, but I chose to depict one fact that most people are not aware of: the challenge of restart life after the disease. I will not elaborate the concept this time, I hope I succeed showing it through the image.
This is one of my favorite work so far, a lot of me in there, since I suffer from a chronic disease (not cancer!) and I am struggling to restart my life. I hope you like it too.

Vision
Originality Technique ImpactWhen I looked at your work to accept it into our group (MarvelousManips) it took a few seconds to really comprehend of what was going on in this work. When i realised I shivered and got goosebumps(I think that is the correct word in English). It depicts such a sad story. Some emotions of desperation and solitude came over me.
The choice of sources is perfect! You couldn't have picked a better model for your work. And how lovely are the rays of light shining through the balcony. Every little item is so carefully placed and modelled into perfection. That makes the work so personal. You can really see you layed your own emotions in it. It also causes that every item has such an own "personality" that the blending of f.e. the violin and the music standard is difficult. But that's just a tiny nitpick and doesn't change anything to the quality of your work.
For Originality...yes well... we all have seen lots of lovely girls and woman being placed in a beautiful environment. The thing that makes this stand out is the message it is containing.
In short...I really love it and i think it deserved a positive critique.
